DUO 7: Lea Quortrup & Kristoffer Hyldig 

Lea Quortrup, Danish: voice

Lea Quortrup graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. She studied with professor Kirsten Buhl Møller at The Opera Academy in Copenhagen graduating in 2015. Lea Quortrup had her debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart) at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen (2014). Lea Quortrup received Sonning’s Talentprize in 2016. Since 2016 Lea Quortrup has lived in Vienna, where she recently played Zerlina in Don Giovanni with the opera company Oper-Rund-Um.

 

Kristoffer Hyldig, Danish: piano

Kristoffer Hyldig debuted in 2010 from the soloist program at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, where he studied with Tove Lønskov, Amalie Malling and Niklas Sivelöv. Hyldig performs frequently at the Danish music societies and festivals, as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. Since 2009, Hyldig has been a permanent member of Ensemble Nordlys. Further, Kristoffer Hyldig has played concerts at Carnegie Hall, New York, and has performed in Italy, Germany, England, France and Polen. Hyldig collaborates with Zentropa and The Royal Danish Playhouse.
