Kirsten Buhl Møller teaches singing at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Opera Academy. She graduated from DKDM with debut in 1974 opera debut in 1975 and has since had an extensive career with concerts at home and abroad. Important roles counts include Cenerenrola (Rossini) Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte), La Peric Hole (Offenbach) and Pernille (Masquerade). Kirsten Buhl Møller has for years been associated with the Danish National Opera and has also appeared in the television operas and numerous premieres.
Kirsten Buhl Møller has been employed by DKDM since 1980, from 1995 as a professor. She has trained a large number of singers that have since been reflected in the international scenes. She has also been a guest lecturer at the Academy of Music in Stockholm, Conservatoire Nationale Superiore, Paris, Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester and Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, Tallin, and she through distance learning works with the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki, Manhattan School of Music, New York and Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland. She is also a member of the juries at singing competitions nationally and internationally.
